HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Well Logan had his first real family outing this afternoon. We went to great grandma Peg's for Thanksgiving lunch. There weren't very many people there so we thought it was safe to take Logan. He had a good time, but slept mostly.

We also went to the eye doctor this past Tuesday. We got some great news. Logan does not have to go back for a year!! The doctor said he was back down to stage 1 retinopathy and that any abnormal growth was happening on the peripherals of his eyes and that it was not a big deal. He said that Logan is basically out of the woods for any eye trouble and just to check back in a year! We were very pleased.

We (and by "we" I mean Danny) finally got Logan's crib put together yesterday, so tonight will be his first night in a big bed. Oh boy, I don't know if we are ready for this! But it's time. He is only getting up once a night anyway so I think we should be good.

We go see Dr. Einhorn again this coming Tuesday. I think he will be pleased with Logan's growth. He is at least 10 1/2 pounds maybe a bit more by now. We are hoping to lose the oxygen soon too. He is off of it mostly during the day and then we put it back on him at night. I really don't think he even needs it, but we will see what the doc says.

I will post more pictures soon. I know I need to! I just really haven't taken a whole lot of them lately. I will make a conscious effort this weekend, promise!

Sorry

Sorry everyone that I haven't posted in awhile. I have been under the weather and had some minor surgery related to my Crohn's disease. Dad has been doing a great job taking care of Logan and of course Grandma has been taking care of both of us!

Logan went to the eye doctor just over a week ago and things were about the same. He did not like the exam and screamed his little lungs out. However, he did not scream as loud as the first time. The doctor said he was in stage 2 retinopathy, but that it was inactive and not progressing, which is very good. He said it will likely clear on its own, but we still have to make a few more trips to make sure. His next appt. is on Nov. 25 and then he will have one more after that.

He goes to see Dr. Einhorn again on Dec. 2. He is eating about 4 ounces every 4-5 hours. Of course, he is growing like a weed. We haven't weighed him officially in awhile but we think he is a bit over 10 pounds! He is sleeping fairly well at night and only getting up once, as long as he eats about 10:00 p.m.

In other news, we haven't moved yet but are getting closer. Hopefully next weekend or the weekend after. Danny and Shea have moved quite a bit of stuff out there already. We bought new appliances and a few of them are hooked up. Well I think that is all for now.

New pics

Here are a few new pics. Not too much new to report. We go to the eye doctor Friday. Logan is sleeping well for the most part. He gets up once around 2 or 3 and then is ready to get up again about 6:30 or 7. He still does a lot of grunting which wakes me up. Once we get into the new house, I think he will be in a different room. I can't seem to do that just yet! Enjoy the pics!
