Just a few new changes

Hello everyone. There isn't too much to post today. Logan is doing well and on the same settings on his si-pap machine. He had another good blood gas this morning. Right now the nurse said he is hovering around 25% oxygen, which is good. She said he has been pretty active in his bed, not really crying, just moving alot. He must miss his mom and dad, maybe even grandma!

They gave him a microenema this morning and he had a good bowel movement around noon. They have increased his feedings to 15 ccs every 3 hours over the 2 hour period. He gets his first increased feeding at 5 this evening. Please pray that he handles this well.

They have also stopped the antibiotics as no infection was growing in his blood culture. This is so great! They will weigh and measure him tonight, so I will update once I find out this information.

God must have decided to let him have a non-exciting day, since I can't be there. This is more than ok with me. Danny and I sure do miss him already. Sunday seems so far away, we don't know if we can wait that long to see him again.

Jill and Danny,

We are happy to hear that Logan is doing well today.

I think that it is GREAT that they let you hold him! I do believe that he knows your touch and that bond will surely help him grow stronger each and every time that he feels you near!

You are all on our minds every day and in our prayers.

I think this blog is a great way to keep all of us in touch with Logan's progress.

Hello! We are so glad you finally got to hold him! It is an amazing feeling holding them for the first time, and how hard it must have been to wait so long! But hopefully this will be something you get to continue!! Keep positive; tho it may not always make sense to us, God knows what He's doing! :)
Love,

How exciting to hold your son!!! And Danny to change a diaper too!! God has truly blessed you 3 with a great day.

I have to say that watching my son interact with his son is just so beautiful it can't be put into words.

The love you both have for Logan is his greatest blessing and just what he needs to grow strong.

Enjoy your weekend as hard as it is going to be not being with Logan.

Love, Mom Thomas

Jill,

So exciting to open up the blog and see pictures of you holding your son!! I can't even imagine how ecstatic you must have been. I know it must be so hard to be away from him right now.
All the best,
Ashley (Stevenson) McDowell
